Juniper Insect Repellent Balm

This balm includes three essential oils with the ability to put bugs off – they are Juniper, Lemon Eucalyptus and Rosemary. As we regularly work in our woodland, we need something that really does deter insects from biting us, and something that is also comfortable on the skin. Our Juniper insect repellent balm is made with moisturising Hazel Nut Oil and Shea Butter with Beeswax to thicken. This is an all-natural preparation which melts onto the skin for easy spreading, with a pleasant insect repellent aroma. It can be widely applied to the skin or dabbed on key sensitive areas.

Corylus avellana seed oil, Butyrospermum parkii butter, Cera alba, Juniperus communis wood oil, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf oil, Eucalyptus citriodora oil, Helianthus annus seed oil, Rosmarinus officinalis leaf extract, *d-Limonene, *Linalol, *Citronellol, *Geraniol (*natural ingredients of essential oils)

For external use only. Apply sparingly every 2 to 3 hours. Keep away from eyes. Keep at room temperature. Keep out of reach of children.

We suggest applying to exposed areas especially around neck, wrists and ankles. Supplied in an amber glass jar with black plastic wadded lid. Recommended shelf life is 12 months.

‘I gave your jar of insect repellent to a friend of mine who has an allotment and gets bitten constantly, any type of bug goes for her. She tried it three times when she knew she was doing things that usually cause her a great exposure to biting creatures! Picking blackcurrants, cutting back hedging and weeding in shrubbery. All three times she said she wasn’t bitten at all which is pretty significant. She also said it was nice to apply and liked the smell’ (August 2016).
