How much for shipping and delivery?
We aim to ensure that all products will be posted to you within three working days of receiving your order, subject to payment card authorisation. Depending on stock availability some items may need to be prepared, and we will let you know if there is likely to be any significant delay. All items are usually posted first class, although larger packages may be sent parcel post or by courier. You will only be charged once per order for delivery. For example, if we are unable to deliver all the products within your order at the same time, you will only be charged once for delivery.
Postage rates within UK: Our body care product orders up to 1 kg weight are all sent by UK Royal Mail First Class Signed For Service. Book orders are sent separately and subject to an additional separate charge for UK Royal Mail Second Class Signed For Service.
UK Royal Mail First Class Signed For Service (small parcel rate up to 1 kg): cost £4.50.
UK Royal Mail Second Class Signed For Service for book orders (1-2 kg) also costs £4.50.
Outside UK: If you wish to order a larger amount or a delivery outside UK then contact us for a quote regarding the cost of delivery. Note that international orders may be subject to Customs inspections and/or fees based on each country’s specific regulations. We are not responsible for these actions or any reimbursement of customs fees or taxes.

Can your body care products be used for sensitive skin?
Our products are formulated to contain only natural ingredients, and have been designed to suit most skin types. As with any skincare product, customers with sensitive skin are advised to perform a test patch before using a new product for the first time. Certain essential oil constituents are considered as allergenic in EU legislation and these are listed in the product ingredients if they exceed a particular level in wash-off (0.001%) and leave-on (0.05%) products.
Are herbal products safer if I have a health problem?
Children
Some cosmetic products may not be appropriate for young people. We do not recommend using any products containing essential oils on young children without professional advice. Please note that some products contain Willow leaves or bark which has salicylic acid as a constituent and these are not recommended for use with children under 3 years of age.
Pregnancy
Some products for external use contain essential oils which can be very potent and should be avoided during pregnancy, especially in the first 6 months. Please contact your local qualified herbal practitioner or aromatherapist who can advise you.
Are your products tested on animals?
How should I store these body care products?
Minimum preservatives are used in the products, where possible based on natural sources, and this does mean that there is a limited shelf-life. We recommend that all products containing fixed oils, fats and waxes are used within 12 months of purchase. Other items, including dried herbs in capsules, are less likely to deteriorate and have a 12-18 month shelf-life. Soaps and alcohol-containing deodorant and eau de cologne splash will last at least 24 months and possibly longer. To extend shelf-life, do ensure that containers are firmly closed and keep these items in a cool, dry, and dark location. In order to ensure freshness we manufacture in small batches and only sell items in small volumes. It is best to buy in smaller quantities and use the products while fresh.
Glass bottles are heavier and more prone to breakage in transit. They will always be wrapped with additional packaging. These bottles can be washed and re-used. Please let us know if any item arrives with any leakage or damage. Larger quantities are provided in plastic bottles.
